We started something new this Easter. I got tired of Easter feeling like it was all about the basket and the bunny. So this year we had the kids write a letter to the Easter Bunny asking him to come on Saturday so they could think about Jesus and his resurrection on Sunday. It was fantastic! We will be doing that from now on.

We had a nice quiet Easter conference weekend!
Over spring break we headed down to visit my family. We had a belated Easter egg hunt at my parents house. Barnes carried this bag around for two days, it was so funny. One night I had to pry it our of his little fingertips while he was in bed with it. And we had our annual cash Easter egg hunt for the adults with my cousins family. We also got to celebrate Aaron's birthday. We got to go out on a real date and have some yummy food and good times! It was a busy fun spring break.

Love the idea! We do the same thing as far as celebrating on Saturday. But I am bad!!!! I just tell them that the Easter Bunny is their mom and Dad. Sad hun..They still love it!!! We re coming though in August. We need to get together then.
